White Tibia Fusus Shell 13-15cm long
The Tibia Fusus is sometimes called the Shinbone Tibia or Spindle Shell.
This is a slender shell with a narrow, elongated straight, needle like siphonal canal. This long needle like canal is highly prized by collectors when undamaged.
Colour is white with pale brown markings on the tip of shell.
Habitat: The Tibia Fusus are found in the Indian Ocean east to the northern Australian/New Zealand shores. They prefer tropical deep water.
This remarkable shell not only fascinating but beautiful. It would make a perfect piece for artists and art students to use for inspiration and drawing.
