Small: 80 shells from very small (1cm) to small (2cm) - the shell openings are approx between 0.5cm - 1cm

Medium: 20 shells around 3-4cm - the shell openings are approx between 1.5 - 2.2cm

Large: 10 shells around 5-6cm - the shell openings are approx between 2.5-3cm

Extra large: 6 shells around 6.5-8cm - the shell openings are approx between4-5cm

Mixed size: 30 shells in a mix of sizes from small to extra large.

About Hermit Crabs:

Hermit crabs have a soft, delicate abdomen and in order to keep it protected they wear shells on their backs. These shells are not a physical part of the crab, rather they are borrowed from other shellfish. As the crab grows, it will need to move into bigger and bigger shells. Some crabs just love to change shells for fun, or to find a better fit. Always have a broad selection of different sizes as some hermit crabs like to wear shells that seem too large or too small for them.
