Purple Periwinkle Shells are fascinating unpolished beautiful shells from the Philippines with a distinctive purple mouth. Known locally as "Cebu Beauty"
The shells have been thoroughly cleaned and are suitable for table decoration, jewellery making and all sorts of arts and craft projects.
Available in weights of 25g, 50g or 100g, these beautiful shells are randomly scooped and the
shell sizes may vary from 1 to 1.5cm long.
25g usually contains anything between 10 - 12 shells depending on each individual shell size.
Please note we try to remove any shells that are severely damaged or fragments of shell when packing but you may find the odd bit.
The majority of seashells sold are a by-product of the seafood diet/fishing industry in their country of origin (as cockles, mussels and scallops are in the UK). Most species live on warm sandy bottoms in tropical waters in Indo-Pacific Oceans, and many are economically important as food sources.
Safety Information: Not suitable for children under 36 months as the shells may present a choking hazard.

You are able to return your goods for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Please note that we cannot pay the cost of return postage unless the goods are faulty.
